Tennis club's young pairing come through

In the Norfolk & Suffolk League Division Three, Haverhill Tennis Club men's B team played at home to Newmarket B.
The young pairing of Kurtis Nobbs & Billy Hudson were 0-3 down in their first set but won 6-3. They also won another set against the second Newmarket pair.
Jake Warner & Ray Goddard were 3-0 up in their first two sets but lost both 5-7. They won one set against the other pair.
Final result being Haverhill 3 Newmarket 5.
The last two matches were played by the Haverhill ladies team in the Norfolk & Suffolk Division One, both against Burwell.
Away at Burwell, Amanda Smith & Abi Cartwright-Thomas won three sets and lost one.
Gill Argent & Joan Ford won one and lost three. Match result 4-4.
At home to Burwell, Amanda Smith & Abi Cartright-Thomas won two sets and lost two.
Gill Argent & Marcia Armstrong also won two and lost two. Match result again 4-4.
