Thieves and burglers have another busy weekend

Monday, 5th July 2010.

Burglary of sheds and garages and thefts from gardens are still going on in Haverhill, with some more occuring over the weekend.

In The Glebe, between 10pm on Friday and 7.30am on Saturday, three water pistols were stolen from a front garden. Police want to hear from anyone who may be offered these items for sale.

In York Road, between 12noon on Saturday and 6.50am today burglars broke into a garage by forcing the door and stole a multicoloured Aprila motorbike, registration N274OAV.

In Homefield Road, between 9.45am and 10.05am on Friday two men have got into the rear of a shop and stole seven boxes of mens underwear before leaving in a Renault Trafic van. The underwear is Hugo Boss and Jockey brands.

In Bergamot Road, at around 4.40pm on Thursday, three men have stole eleven rolls of turf from a front garden, leaving in a white van.

In Mallow Walk, between 7pm on Friday and 12.30pm on Saturday, both number plates were stolen from a silver Peugeot 306 in a parking area.

And in Greenfields Way, at around 12.40pm yesterday a group of five or six white youths in their mid to late teens, wearing rucksacks, pulled down fencing around a building site.
