Two Men Arrested in Rape Case

Two men were arrested last week in connection with the rape of a 25 year old woman.
Police arrested a 28 year old man and a 37 year old man following the rape in Haverhill's old St Mary's churchyard in the early hours of Sunday, August 10.
The rape victim, who woke up in the churchyard at about 5am, had been at Rush Nightclub earlier and was seen on cctv footage walking up the High Street with a man. Police made repeated appeals for him to come forward.
More than 400 people were questioned during checks a week after the attack and a team of detectives have been working through information they provided.
The men have been released on police bail until next month.
