Vandals cause damage at town cemetery

Mean vandals have targeted Haverhill cemetery in Withersfield Road, with with a number of graves being affected and items damaged.
Haverhill police said a man visiting his son's grave on Monday found flowers had been thrown around and a glass dome vase had disappeared.
He reported several other graves had been affected. The incidents happened between Saturday and Monday.
Anyone who may have any information which might help police catch the culprits should call Sgt Sarah Bartley at the Haverhill Safer Neighbourhood Team on 01284 774100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
