Video project takes shape

Thursday, 7th December 2000.

PUBBERS, clubbers, and excluded pupils could be among those trying out the latest digital video cameras in a new project at Haverhill.
Nick Keeble, Haverhill Town Council's leisure worker, told members of the Haverhill Partnership Group about the project yesterday.
The town council was awarded a 55,880 Lottery Grant for the Multi@Arts digital arts and media project, to be run with St Edmundsbury Borough Council and the Cangle Junction young people's centre in Haverhill.
Mr Keeble said interviews were being held this week for an arts worker to help people use the equipment. The rest of the cash would go on new computer equipment and a website.
The scheme is an extension of the Face of Haverhill project which took photographs of residents to be morphed on computer to create a composite image.
