Thursday, 6th July 2000.

YOUNG video makers from Cangle Junction at Haverhill are off to the Millenniun Dome hoping to win a national competition.
The seven-and-a-half minute film, The Cangle Up Close and Personal is one of five finalists in the contest.
It was open to all 120 of Britain's "foyers" , housing and training centres for young people. Cangle Junction, the former Cangle School building in Withersfield Road, was conerted by the English Churches Housing Group.
For the video, Cangle residents Mark Goodwin, Richard Battle, Paul Wright and Hayley Grice, helped by Kelly Marsland, who is doing a Learning Gateway project there, gained local people's views on the centre.
Jo Tennyson, A Cangle co-prdinator, said the team all aged 16 to 25, had worked hard on the video.
She added: "They are excited about going to the Dome and will get a day's free admission to attend the judging and stay at a hotel even if they do not win."
