Witnesses sought after cars are vandalised

Wednesday, 7th May 2014.

Police are appealing for information after two incidents of vandalism to cars over the last few days.

In one, the car was vandalised with superglue between 9.15pm on Sunday and 10.15am next day at an address in Cambridge Way.

A black Vauxhall Astra parked on a driveway had superglue applied to all four door handles and the boot, causing significant damage to the vehicle.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact PC John Moore at Haverhill Police Station on 101 quoting reference HH/14/854, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

In the other incident a car was scratched between 10.30am and 11am on Thursday, May 1, in a parking area in Murton Slade.

The car, a blue BMW, had been scratched by a key or similar implement around the bonnet, boot and along both sides.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or who has information about this incident is asked to contact PC Ryan Waters at Haverhill Police Station on 101 quoting reference HH/14/822, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
