Your Chance to Climb Kilimanjaro for Charity

Wednesday, 11th March 2009.

This week the news has been full of the intrepid celebrities who have taken on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for charity. Have you been inspired by their adventurous tales? If so, read on…

East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH) are looking for adventurous volunteers to trek to the summit of the world’s tallest free-standing mountain – Kilimanjaro. Be prepared to immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the jungle, spectacular wildlife, and breathtaking glaciers; and experience something others will only ever dream of.

EACH provides care and support for life-threatened children and their families in their own homes, as well as at the charity’s hospices based at Milton, Ipswich and Quidenham in Norfolk.

Karen Chesney, Events Fundraiser for EACH commented “This is a fantastic opportunity – truly an experience of a lifetime! At EACH we rely on public support for 75% of our income, so you can be sure your sponsorship money will make a big difference to this very worthy cause."

If you’re up for the challenge simply give Karen a call on 01223 205192 and she can send you a full information pack. For details of other exciting overseas challenges please visit:
