Half term events at Haverhill Arts Centre

Haverhill Arts Centre has a magical show for children this half term. On Thursday 2 June at 11.00am and 1.30pm Blunderbus Theatre presents a new version of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. In The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Charlie Hubble is a little boy with a very big dream, he wants to be a world class magician. So he saves up his pocket money to buy The Big Book of Magic and sets off to Mr Zacoor’s shop to buy it. But Mr Zacoor is no ordinary shop keeper, he’s a real-life sorcerer! And he has a very special job for Charlie… This delightful new show comes to life with an irresistible blend of music, puppetry and storytelling. There’s also an enchanting toy shop setting filled with all sorts of magical surprises! Little people aged 3-7 will love this funny, heart- warming tale but big people will have fun too. Tickets are £6.00 and £5.00 with a family ticket at £20.00.

Zootropolis 2D (PG) - the animated tale of Judy Hopps, a determined young rabbit who enlists in the local police force - is screening at the Arts Centre on Tuesday 31 May at 2.30pm and Friday 3 June at 10.30am. To solve the mysterious case of a missing rabbit Judy must team up with a con-artist fox.

On Friday 3 June at 2.30pm, the martial arts loving panda, Po returns in Kung Fu Panda 3 (PG). In this episode, Po teams up with his long-lost father to train a village of clumsy, fun-loving pandas to defeat a supernatural villain. Tickets for both films are £4.50
