LEISURE MATTERS - Winter in Haverhill 2000

The Winter in Haverhill 2000 brochure will be available as from 9th November. Free copies will be available from Haverhill Library, Arts Centre and reception areas of St Edmundsbury and Haverhill Town Council offices.
This colourful brochure gives details of the many events and activities in the town over the Xmas/New Year period including the switching on of the Christmas Lights, Family Christmas Night and, of course, the free Fireworks extravaganza on Friday 8th December.
Talking of Christmas lights, following the development of the stunning display on the Market Square in 1999, the Town Council has plans to enhance and extend the display at the top end of town past the Arts Centre. Watch this space for further details.
