Richard Spring, MP for West Suffolk, recently visited caravanning specialists M & M Leisure of Haverhill, Suffolk on a fact finding mission to learn more about the success of the company’s re-brand and new e-commerce website.

Before visiting M & M Leisure, Mr Spring explained that he had heard about M&M Leisure’s new website and was looking to hear about how launching the e-commerce site will help improve their caravan sales.

M & M Leisure’s managing director Graham Bashford said: "We are delighted that Mr Spring found the time to visit us. He showed a genuine interest in our business and was particularly keen to discover more about the performance of our new website, which he spent some time viewing.”

Created by Haverhill based, marketing and communications company Pure Energy Multimedia, M & M Leisure’s re-brand and new e-commerce site were launched in March 2007.

Graham continued: “We remain dazzled by the performance of our website and the impact it has had on direct sales. Mr Spring was especially impressed to hear that our sales are actually up by 25% from this time last year! The figures speak for themselves.”

Founded in 1978, M & M Leisure is now one of the Uk's most highly regarded outdoors leisure retailers and caravanning specialists. Although the company’s core business is supplying new and used Bailey touring caravans, M & M Leisure has also earned a sterling reputation in the field of caravan servicing and repairs through operating one of the few industry-approved workshops in the country.
